   189 bottle version. Updated review – 3 weeks after delivery. Upon receipt I noticed that the door was bent and would not seal all around (last picture). I called tech support and no one answered. However within 2 minutes my phone rang and it was someone from tylza calling back. I suspect that all their support is done out of China and they use the caller ID from wherever you call to call you back rather than answer the phone. The agent promised to escalate the issue. Shortly afterwards they offered me a credit for the door, but it took about 2 weeks to get it. After bringing the unit in the house and loading it up i have no desire to return it – i just wanted it fixed or credited. I will add that idealwinecoolers.com customer service did offer 4 options to resolve the problem: * 1. Replacement – Return the item you have currently for a brand new item. We can arrange a free pick up. * 2. Replacement – We can ship out another item, you may take the piece you need out, and return the rest to us, we can arrange a free pick up. * 3. Refund – Return the item for a full refund. A free pick up can be created. * 4. Discount – Keep the item for a discount, in the form of a promotional credit. This may only be used on our website, on any item shipped and sold by idealwinecoolers.com. Of course you may keep the item as is if you want. About CAPACITY – I asked before I bought. Bottle size and advertising is a “wine-fridge industry” problem. No one wants to mention anything than the “most common” bottle size – Bordeaux, which is very different from California Bordeaux. Most of my wines come in california bordeaux bottles. This wine fridge does not hold 189 “California Bordeaux” size bottles. It holds maybe 160 bottles, and it requires some effort to make that happen. Otherwise it appears to be a good value. I ultimately ordered the 189 bottle version but inquired before i purchased – “can the 156 bottle fridge hold 156 bottles that are 12.25″ tall?” The seller CoolersUS responded back YES. This number is dependent on having 11 bottles per shelf. So the pictures show how each rack holds 8 california bordeaux bottles (not 11) or it can hold 9 bottles if you allow them poking out slightly at the back. That means in the 189 unit you get 14 shelves that can hold 9 bottles, plus 2 other shelves that can hold maybe 15 bottles. 14×9+15+15=156 bottles in a 189 bottle fridge. So it still holds a lot of bottles but not completely flat (see pictures), and all the drawers do close. Larger diameter bottles will not allow the drawers to close properly. As you can see from the pictures, and what is left out of the documentation of nearly every wine fridge is how many “california style bordeaux” bottles it can hold. CA bordeaux bottles are 12-12.25″ tall with a 9″ high neck. This makes most wine fridges unable to handle their max capacity, or even stack the bottles flat on the shelf. I put a tape measure in the pictures so you can see exactly what the dimensions are.

   First off, came over a week early- both good and bad. Second, measure and make sure you have extra space- measurements are not accurate exactly. If you keep the feet on, it’s way too tall even as close as they can get. I had to take them off in order for them to fit as measures indicated. Otherwise, looks awesome and came well packaged. Only been running a day, so I’ll update this.

   This dual zone beverage and wine cooler is moderately priced for the quality and features. It is a very nice design and looks great. The digital temperature readouts are easy to read and there are interior LED lights that makes searching for your beverage or wine at night that much easier, however the light button does not have any backlighting making the button hard to find in the dark. As long as you know it is a couple inches to the left of the temperature readout, you’re OK. It would be just a little bit better if the backlighting was there to see the options. There are many units cheaper and many more expensive. I was looking for a split dual zone unit for beverages with a temperature to get as low as possible. I like my beverages ice cold. This unit says it cools to 35 degrees on the beverage side and it seems to usually be between 35-37 with a thermometer. I couldn’t find any units in this price range that cooled less than 35 degrees. 33-34 would have been ideal. Many others I was considering had their lowest temperature at 36-38, so this unit won on that feature. The wine side cools as the setting shows. It also has nice wooden wine shelves that slide out and hold enough wine for my needs. The beverage side has stable glass shelves that can also slide out and you can arrange to adjust the height of the cans or bottles to be stored. The unit took a few weeks to be delivered, but it arrived packed and protected with professional quality. I previously tried to purchase another model from a local big box store, but they shipped me 2 units that had to be returned due to several dents and dings. I was happy to see no dents or dings in this unit when it arrived. Now that I’ve given you a good overall review of the unit, I would also like to mention that when we received the cooler, the fan was very loud and somewhat annoying. It turned on often and ran for 12-20 minutes at a time. I contacted the customer service and over the next several weeks, Mark was able to assist in shipping me two different replacement fans and emailed a video instruction on how to replace it. The second fan set was a newer model fan runs quieter and so far, we are very pleased. The customer service at Itylza was both personable and professional. Mark seemed very sincere in his commitment to resolve this issue and stay in touch.
