Summit needs to work on their customer service. Be very careful before buying anything from them. I have this wine cooler and it is 18 months old. The unit stopped cooling so I called summit and they said nothing they can do its out of warranty. Spoke to a local appliance repair company and they came out and determined the compressor was faulty and needed to be replaced. They contacted summit about getting a new one since the warranty should cover the compressor for 5 years. Problem is the labor to replace the compressor is $800 and summit said that was on me to pay and they would not cover or contribute toward any labor charges. Summit products do not last and they need to learn how to treat their customers better. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Worked well for 2 years then the coolant ran out. Summit recommended a local appliance repair company and they refused to come out because Summit has a bad reputation with working with such companies. I asked them for a guesstimate for the repair and it was as much as buying a new one, so that is what I am going to do and it will not be a Summit.
