Perfect for under a cabinet (has front ventilation). Has a reversable door and two temperature zones. It holds a lot of 750 ml wine bottles but not likely to get 46 in it if the bottles are various sizes. Bottles are placed on the racks alternating top to front and top to back. I’d recommend to the manufacturer to add a seal between the upper and lower zones to prevent the cold and cool air from mixing causing the the cold zone to be warmer and the cool zone to be cooler than the temperature settings. Interior light is on a switch. It does not come on when opening the door.

Delivery and installation went very smooth. Very strong packaging for protection. Main concern was noise level since it is near the family room. Fortunately, the unit is very quiet. Like the space proportion for the bottles – racks are easy to pullout. Dual temp is reasonably accurate. The only observation of concern, although a minor concern, is the unit does seem to run for longer periods of time. Unlike our refrigerator which runs in shorter timeframe and then shuts off, the wine cooler seems to run for longer periods of time – although fairly quite – shuts off and then runs again. Perhaps this is to keep a more constant circulation of air for cooling. That said, this seems to be a minor issue and overall, we really like the unit especially at the price and free delivery.

Becoming very noisy after a year. Pulled it out, emptied it and tightened up any loose screws along inside back, none were loose, but two were stripped. Inside back is single thin sheet of metal and if I hold it the noise goes down a little. Took the outside lower back off to see if anything was loose. One leg bolt wasn’t quite down all the way. Rechecked to make sure it’s level. Nothing else was loose. Still making noise with everything out of it. Disappointing, not sure how much noisier it will get over the next year. First year it was perfect, now it’s very noisy.
It keeps everything cold, but the noise is too much. I’ll contact them and see what if anything can be done. Nice unit. Would be a 5 star if the noise hadn’t started.

This thing SUCKS. It failed completely within two years of purchase, Bad compressor. That cost another $99.00 to determine. No customer service whatsoever. More than one year from purchase and therefroe not covered by the warranty, do not bother calling. Took it to the dump and smashed it with a sledge hammer. And thanks to the usually reliable Consumer Reports for giving this piece of junk a decent rating. Buy an ice bucket instead, it would probably work longer than this so called wine cooler. This site forced me to give it at least a raring of one. My rating is actually -100

We bought two of these coolers – one for white wines and one for reds. UPS delivered them rather than idealwinecoolers.com as the website said. I was afraid the little UPS driver would damaged them as they were bigger than he was and probably weighed more than him. He treated them roughly but I helped him get them inside my door. They were difficult to get them out of the packaging – cardboard, hard foam, small wood pallet, heavy strapping – but with the help of my wife I managed. Getting the door handles on was difficult but they are on and the two look very good. They are plugged in and have wine inside. They are holding the correct temperatures after three days with no noise. We opened a red yesterday and it was a good temp. We are pleased with them so far, only unpacking was difficult.

We bought this wine fridge for a new kitchen island. It’s a very pretty touch with a fun blue light (if turned on). We installed the fridge past our 30 day return window because the kitchen remodel was delayed. When we plugged it in the compressor was damaged from transport. The fridge functioned fine with the exception of a buzzing sound when it cycled on to keep the fridge cool. Otherwise it’s completely quiet and did everything the description promised. We reached out to the company and their customer service was awesome. We will be replacing the fridge, but will definitely buy from them again. They were easy to work with and completely supported us when we needed help. For that reason alone, we gave them 5 stars!
