First, we were replacing the same cooler that lasted 7 yrs. We’ve heard from others that that’s about normal for wine coolers. So this was perfect size to put back in the “hole”. This one is all black whereas the first one has stainless trim & handles and this is all black. The new one has solid black wrapped wire shelves. I scrapped those and kept my old ones that were trimmed in a light wood. The black ones were fine – I just preferred the wood trim. Otherwise, it’s the same cooler and a perfect size for us, and I hope to have it at least 7 years!

After 14 months of excellent service, a “Lo” alarm come on. I contacted the service number and was redirected to another company to enter a service request. I received a service acknowledgment stating I would get a response in 2 days. It has now been 18 and no response. For the price I think it would be worth the price of repair. I’m glad I didn’t purchase extended warranty as there would still be no service response. Currently it is a great wine cupboard but not fridge.

We wanted to fill the space in our cabinets from removing a defective and superfluous icemaker. This model was the perfect size and color, and at a price way below many alternatives. Slotted into the space and plugged in, it immediately worked and showed the temperature, which is easily adjustable. The only downside I see of this model, from a wine drinker’s perspective, is that it only allows one preset temperature. I set it for white wine, then allow reds to warm slightly and breathe for a few minutes before serving.
