Temp would not move when trying to get it set to a reasonable temp. Went to 46 degrees and stayed. Company said it’s cooling so they would not do anything about.

So far so good. Quiet and keeps wine at desired temp. Easy to load and retrieve bottles.

Shipping and delivery were timely and well done. Over all the unit is what I was expecting. I even manage to fit nearly 35 bottles in there including Burgundy shaped bottles which was a pleasant surprise. My only grip is that the nob to change the temperature is basically useless. Be it at full “on” position or barely above the “off” position the unit maintains a consistent 52 degrees near the bottom and 55 at the very top. For the most part I purchased this with the intent of semi-long term storage so I don’t mind the temp around 54 degrees, but if you are planning on serving red straight from the unit you would do well to let it stand on the counter for 15-20 minutes before hand. Despite the limited temp options I am pleased with the design and build and would recommend it with the added warning that you will most likely not get this to maintain a higher temperature than 55 degrees. If you want that “added” option of temp control…spend more money.

It’s cheap for a reason. While the reversible door option is a plus, the unit overall is not high quality. You will have to turn it all the way on maximum to get your drinks cold, and then they’re not super cold. The wire shelves are pretty flimsy as well. Regretful purchase. Spend a little more and get a better unit is my advise.

We’ve had this for a couple years now. Have not had any issues. The only drawback is that it keeps reds a little colder then we typically prefer. (It does have temp control but is still cold on the warmest setting). As a result since it is so big, it doubles as an extra veggie fridge in the summer months.

The Danby Wine Cooler is quiet and a perfect size for us. Keeps a nice temperature for both red and white wines,
although we usually take out the red an hour or so before serving. We are very happy with this purchase!
