   No assembly. I just plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Keeps red & white wine at a cool, not cold, temperature. Great price too. But – a black plastic square piece came wrapped up, but it’s not mentioned in the directions. Does anyone know what it is?

   Product feels and looks solid. As measured with small room thermometer placed inside, the wine celler cooled down to 40*f, and up to 66*f, in an apartment living room set at 72*f. Perfect temp. range and size for holding my one gallon, plastic beer fermenter.

   I was forewarned about the inability of this cooler to acquire the right temperature, but this 6 bottle cooler fits my needs for purpose and price. It doesn’t take up much space. The FLAW? It’s just NOT going to do any less than 57 degrees. I’m not going to turn my household thermostat down to acquire the desired temperature for my red wines.
