- 172 BOTTLE CAPACITY: Allavino’s FlexCount Series is designed to store more bottle types than any other wine refrigerator, making it perfect for wine enthusiasts with diverse collections. This wine cellar has 12 shelves that can hold up to 11 bottles each and 2 shelves that can hold up to 20 bottles each for a maximum capacity of 172 bottles. The maximum bottle capacity can be reached using many different bottle sizes and is only affected when adding in larger Pinot or Champagne bottles.
- DUAL ZONE TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Conveniently store both red and white wines in this dual zone unit, which features a digital display and easy-to-use push button controls that allow you to easily adjust each zone’s temperature independently. The upper zone can be set between 40 degrees Fahrenheit and 55 degrees Fahrenheit while the lower zone can be set between 55 degrees Fahrenheit and 65 degrees Fahrenheit. The lower zone must be set at least 4 degrees higher than the upper zone.
- INNOVATIVE NEW SHELF DESIGN: Allavino’s revolutionary new metal shelves are strong enough to support the weight of bulk storage without sagging, yet thin enough to maximize your available storage space. They feature elegant stainless steel fronts and wood slats that cradle your bottles to help prevent harmful vibration from affecting your wine. Each shelf glides out smoothly on ball-bearing tracks, giving you easy access to every bottle in your collection.
- TRADITIONAL STYLE MEETS MODERN TECHNOLOGY: This wine refrigerator emulates the elegance of a traditional wine cellar with its sleek black cabinet, stainless steel framed glass door, and all-black interior, while showcasing convenient innovations that help ensure your wine is being stored in its optimum conditions. It utilizes fan-forced cooling and a new advanced cooling system that reduces noise and vibration while being 25% more energy efficient.
- BUILT-IN VERSATILITY: The fully finished cabinet makes this versatile wine cooler a stylish freestanding addition to nearly any room in your home, while the front-venting design gives you the option to build it into your cabinetry for a seamless look. To add to its versatility, this unit comes with both a curved and towel bar handle, allowing you to customize it to fit in with the surrounding decor. It measures 71.5″ H x 23.5″ W x 27″ D.

Updated review :Temperature started gradually increasing over about a week. No longer cools at all. Read the other negative reviews. Very poor quality.
Very well designed to accommodate all sizes of bottles. Easy to view wines via the pull out shelves. Maintains a temperature within a two degree range. I have the upper zone set at 50 and lower at 55. I’ve had a temperature sensor in the lower zone for two months and the temperature has sat between 53 and 55 degrees. Very happy so far. Will report back the durability after more time.

So far, so good. We’ve had it for about a week now, and it seems to work well. We like that it’s not that big–which is an even better space saver. While it might hold 172 bottles, it has to be the “standard” shape wine bottle. We have some expensive bottles that have bigger bottoms, skinnier necks, etc. Those fit but you can’t fit that many per shelf, so unfortunately, the space is a bit wasted. With the reviews, I expected to hear a lawn mower. It hums, but it’s not that loud–like the sound of a refrigerator–which is really what this is. We’re crossing our fingers that this unit lasts a long time. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t but sometimes electronics let us down.

I only have had the Allavino wine cooler for a couple of weeks, but it appears to be working fine. It stays within a couple of degrees of the temperatures I have selected and it is very quiet. I can barely hear any compressor noise even when I am standing right in front of the unit. The build quality is much better than the previous name brand units I have purchased. The case is strong and does not bow out from the sides, the shelves do not sag and slide out smoothly. The order and delivery process went smoothly. We ordered the wine cooler on December 30th. and received it on January 8th. Contrary to other name brand units I have ordered, it was well packaged. My only disappointment was that we did not receive the white gloves treatment which we would have received if we had ordered the wine cooler directly from The Beverage Factory instead of through idealwinecoolers.com, but we knew that when we placed our order, but opted to go through idealwinecoolers.com, as the extended warranty we purchased through idealwinecoolers.com had better reviews that the warranty insurance provided through The Beverage Factory.

It’s a good looking wine cooler, but it has issues. I had to have the first one I received taken away and replaced due to its inability to maintain stable temperatures in the red wine section. Also, as mentioned by others it’s LOUD. There is literally no where in my large home where you don’t hear it. That’s a 2 story 5 bedroom home I’m talking about. I’ve had bad luck with wine coolers, so for once, I bought an extended warranty. Three years in, and the compressor has failed. That was a month ago, and I’m still waiting for the repair company to get a compressor and fix it. We had thousands of dollars of good wine sitting out in the bookcase during a heat wave, and still no word about when it will be repaired. When (if) it does get fixed, I’ll sell it to you CHEAP if you want it. Beware. It’s crap pure and simple. In order to save our wine we had to buy a new wine cooler. I’d give it zero stars if I had that option.
