I bought two of these units and had one warrantied due to unacceptable seals. On all 3 units, the seals are quite stiff, leading the unit to not fully seal shut. This leads the compressors to run almost constantly, and they are both very loud. I’ve turned up the temp to 64 degrees to try to get them to run less often, but they still run almost constantly. The new warranty replacement unit has the same problem. So I have had experience with 3 of these units and they are all the same. The original warrantied unit was even worse because the cabinet was out of square, leading to an even worse seal.
I published a 1-star review on the Allavino (Beverage Factory) website and they removed it. How many other 1-star reviews have they removed?
Incredibly dishonest company with a low-quality product.

A little over a year of owning this wine fridge, we started hearing loud noises coming from the back of the unit. It still cooled at the temp we’d set. This went on for another year until it stopped cooling all together. I have two different brands of wine fridges and kept up routine maintenance. The warranty on Allavino products are only one year. They will happily charge you another a$700 plus tax and shipping to send you another one that also has a 1 year warranty. And they will happily do this ever other year for the rest of your life. Save up, buy a unit that has a standard 5 year warranty.
